Guess what this is!

Today I post the first picture from my journey to San Diego and you are welcome to guess what this building is. I will only tell you that it is nearby to where I spend my time. Within a week I will post the answer telling what the heck this monster of a building is. It somehow reminds me of the time of the tripods, though it isn't one and I kinda liked it.

This one is pretty easy after watching a document about unique architecture, in which this building was presented. It's the Geisel Library.

Yeah, liberator got it correctly. It is the Geisel Library at UCSD. I see it everyday at work when I walk to lunch.
