Yleisradio harjoittaa poliittista sensuuria

-ohjelmassa 11.3. Ohjelmassa, joka kesti 48 minuuttia esiteltiin kaikkien muiden eduskuntapuolueiden nuorisojärjestöt, paitsi Perussuomalaisten. Lisäksi ohjelmassa esiteltiin Suomen Kommunistisen Puolueen sitoutumaton ehdokas. Yleisradiolla on merkittävä asema suomalaisissa tiedotusvälineissä valtiollisena tv/radioyhtiönä.

Suora toiminta kannattaa.

Questions, questions

Meme rules :
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Me, Me!!!" while waving your hand in the air.
2. I will respond by asking you five questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.

Niora asked me:

1. Do you already know who to vote for in the upcoming Finnish parliamentary elections?

No. I'm typically still trying to decide when I go to the voting booth. I'm down to two names on my voting list already, though. The question, if you want to know, this time, is whether I should be voting myself, or not. Not quite sure what I think of that - as I've never encountered this situation before. I'm a candidate for the first time in my life.

2. Have you ever written fiction (since the creative writing done at school)?

Aside from back stories for my roleplaying character, not that I remember. It would be interesting, but I've never found the self discipline to do that.

3. How much horseback riding have you done?

One weekend riding course, which translates to approximately 6 hours of riding, if I recall correctly. It was fun.

4. What are you currently reading (in your free time)? Would you recommend it for others to read as well?

Strangely, I'm currently reading only one book. Most of the time, there's at least half a dozen that I'm working on. My only precious right now is Enrico Dandolo & the Rise of Venice by Thomas Madden. If you are interested in medieval history, or history of how a city state grew and changed in the early second millenia, yes, I would.

I just finished reading Philippe Legrain's Immigrants, your country needs them, which is a definite book for anyone who wants to say something about immigration. Helps tremendously in getting one's facts straight. Even if you don't agree with him, it's still a must and great piece in the election times.

5. Have you done any bookcrossing? What do you think of this activity/movement?

Oh, I haven't. Mostly, because I have not quite gotten to a point where I could part from my books. I have considered crossing some of my not so great fantasy books, but have not made the transition to being able to voluntarily saying good bye to any of my books.

I am quite willing to lend my books, even to the point, where I - usually just when I need them - notice that they have vanished and I have no idea whom I lent them to. This happened to my Primer in Game Theory right now when I needed it for an article I was working on.

I'm a book hoard, plain and simple. I like the idea of bookcrossing, but mostly I don't think it is for me. I like having my books in the shelves, waiting to be picked up for reference. But then again, I rarely read fiction nowadays.
